Our Onboarding Process

Step 1: INITIAL CALL

We begin our process with an introductory call where we want to hear what is most on your mind and what prompted you to contact us today. If we both agree there is potential for us to work together, we will schedule a deeper dive.

Step 2: INTRODUCTORY MEETING

This meeting addresses three goals: 

  • First, we learn about you (and your family), your financial experience, and your goals and concerns in as much detail as you are willing to provide. Our discussion gives us a good sense of your financial picture and helps determine whether we feel we are the right fit for each other.
  • Next, we will discuss how we work with clients throughout the year and within our meeting process. At the end of the introductory meeting, we will provide specifics about how we would be compensated in your situation. 
  • Finally, we schedule a follow-up call at which time you can ask questions and determine whether you want to engage Tenured Advisors as your financial planning firm. You will not pay us prior to this step.

Step 3: ANALYSIS & RECOMMENDATION

  • Analyze clients current situation
  • Make recommendations on optimizing client’s financial situation

Step 4: IMPLEMENTATION & ONBOARDING

  • Implement recommended advice
  • Educate client on website navigation, statement reading

Step 5: SPRING & FALL REVIEW MEETINGS

In addition to informal communication with our clients throughout the year, it is important to us to schedule time to provide structured feedback. Prior to each review meeting, we gather your data and prepare our agenda based first on what is on your mind to address, complemented by what we feel is most important. Our meeting will focus on a wide range of topics, and we will send a summary, including actions steps, follow-up items, and details of how we will assist you, as necessary.
